I am without my risperidone and my nightmares/flashbacks are taking a toll on me. I am exhausted, I don't want to sleep. It seems like as soon as I go to sleep I am dreaming and I am completely out of control. I don't believe that I can control my dreams because I haven't been able to. I just want a peaceful nights sleep until my insurance authorizes this medication. I am going freaking nuts. I have no energy, I am a full time student, I can't focus, my fear of going out in public is increasing exponentially and I am about to lose it. I don't know what I can do, is there a natural suppliment I can take? I really need to talk to someone who understands. HELP

When I get the IF out of it, I manage in very small steps, such as making a post like this one. There is strength in numbers. You are not alone.
stand up comedians as at least I'm laughing and not adding on to my
stress.
Sometimes I catch myself watching something like Walking Dead or The Tudors--NOT a good idea.
Best of luck with that--you're not alone. Hang in there-((( ))))betty
I have sleeping pills like melatonin and valerian root, but still hesistant to take it. I am addicted to watching law and order shows, which don't help but at least, try to watch documentaries or things that don't remind you of your pain.
U are with us. Ur not alone in this.
But in the last 2 weeks I've been waking up at 3am or so and staying wide awake until 4am or so. Anybody have any suggestions for getting back to sleep, too? I got the melatonin suggestion here, and it really works.
