Thanks, everybody. My wifi is STILL out. I'm really frustrated what with it being Christmas and all. Grrrr.

I want to be on DS more than ever right now. Plus I want to send Christmas greetings online to all of my church and school friends back in the States.

I called the wifi company here in Mexico and it turns out that I have no wifi because of a breakdown of their equipment out on the street, not because of clouds.

They said it will take 1 or 2 days more for their maintenance workers to fix it. Argh!

Meanwhile, I only have minutes without wifi for these brief messages.

I miss really talking to y'all, especially this week of the year. Hope to be back soon.

Me, too, SC. On my call today they said that it wasn't their maintenance problem out on the street. They said I had moved the router or modem or whatever. It sounded like they had shut me off for that.

I didn't, and the person on the phone said she believed me and getting me back on would be a priority. Obviously not, as that was 5 hours ago.

Now it's been a week with no wifi and here it is the holidays when I'd most like to be in touch with y'all.

So it goes. Sigh.

The wifi company here decided my week without wifi wasn't my fault for monkeying with their modem & router after all. Yay!

It's theur faulty equipment. They promised on the phone today to send a staffer in person to my house to physically bring me a new set if equipment.

Hurray

It now seems I'll ring in the New Year with new wifi and get back to normal here on DSPTSD. Nice. There may be glitches to iron out but now I'm hopeful. Thanks for supporting me through this whole episode. Gracias .

I'm sorry Muji. You know you're missed but you can only do what you can do. Just remember we'll be here when you come back.
