meditation share -- confusion

as i continue wrestling with the politically incorrect details of managing my three chicken flocks, "courage to change" provided me with another high fiber chew to balance the psychoweirds of ^it^. thought i'd share again in hopes of enhancing the flavor. just hoping. . .
---------------begin quote-----------
confusion can be a gift from god. looking back on instances when i felt desperately in need of an immediate solution, i can see that often i wasn't readyy to act. when i became fully ready, the information i needed was there for the taking.
when i know too much about my options before the time is right to exercise those options, i tend to use the information only to drive myself crazy. that's why today, when i am feeling confused, i try to consider it a grace. it may not be time for me to act.
i think that dealing with confusion can be like cooking. if the bread isn't done, i don't take it out of the oven and insist that it's time to eat. i let it finish baking. if a clear solution to a problem hasn't shown itself yet, i can trust that it will appear when the time is right.
today's reminder
i will thank my higher power for whatever i experience today, even if i feel troubled or confused. i know that every experience can offer me a gift. all i have to do is be willing to look at my situation in the light of gratitude.
"everything has its wonders, even darkness and silence, and i learn, whatever state i may be in, therein to be content." ~helen keller

for what it's worth
helen keller was blind, deaf and mute. she lived from 1880 to 1968 and, along with her teacher, anne sullivan, was considered to among the elite sponsors of the american sign language. the 1962 movie of their beginnings, "the miracle worker" is a landmark of my personal herstory, though i didn't see it until it hit network tv some odd years later.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
* I kinda think I needed to read that more than you know
* kinda in a state of confusion myself rite now
*i hope you have something good happen in your day today <3

when i want to change the world, i shift my perspective.
sigh. . . anything worth thinking is worth over-thinking. . .
but waiting is even harder than resisting the habit of over-thinking. i often blame boredom for my habitual over-thinking. the many mantras i use to address that conundrum is,
"intelligence sees how to.
"wisdom sees when to.
"be wise."
