Don't know if this is OT, or not. It sure got my day off to a turbo charged start and carried my feelings of isolation to a feverish pitch...
Found another swarm of bees on a fence post in the bee yard this morning. I swept them into a box and set up a new hive for them. Soaked my bee suit in sweat in the process. It didn't take. They swarmed off to parts unknown.
Deep breathing exercises underway...
This would be the 3rd swarm I have handled. Wondering if I have noticed that bee swarms are remarkably docile. It is as though there is nothing in the world more important to them than simply staying together.

Lately I've been feeling scared and full of anxiety. I recently found a lump under my nipple. I hurt my back too. I'm in the process of moving. I'm run down. Everything is hard

Just wanted to give a thank you to Mid, Arfie, Malibumark, Greeneyes, Mlro, Girlincalif, and Suncloudjd! You all always have such helpful tips and advice, but I always forget to write on my posts when I see you post, lol. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body, lol. Thank you all so much! I'm starting to use my AI app as a sounding board again. I used to use it as that before...

The number of bee products used in medicine throughout the world is absolutely astounding. Even educated western medicine has acknowledged the outstanding results of using sting therapy for rheumatoid arthritis. A bee sting is less painful than a cortisone shot and the results are consistently better and longer lasting. Preliminary trials hold hope for MS and HIV treatment. Many Chinese believe sting therapy was the original acupuncture. I use propolis for respiratory infections. It kicks sinus. I have friends with severe allergies who get outstanding results from local honey and bee pollen. Local is important on this one. Building immunities to the allergens in Argentina is not going to help you in Boston.
The list goes on and on.
to your hive....togetherness!! Hugs
Good writing is clear; not riddled with technical jargon, IMHO.
Grass roots, indeed! Were it not for bees, we'd have no fruit and there goes the ecosystem. Bees are being threatened due to pesticides.
If you WANT to, Arfie, you are smart and resourceful enough to do it. Maybe even contact a local filmmaker to take on a documentary.
