Certainty is never available when my memory blocks come down, but I kinda feel like the man apron memory has fully emerged. It led me to a pre-schooler's eye view of a 1950's quilting bee. A quilting frame is quite large. Large enough to hold a double bed quilt tight. There is enough room for a significant number of children under there. Some of the women at the bee are designing man aprons for sons and husbands. Methinks it is where I learned the term, "man apron."
The clearest memory is of needles poking through the quilt over our heads and making things out of the threads and scraps which fell on the floor.
Just an update. Still not overly confident of it...

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
My point is, my therapist and I have talked about memories that would hurt me being in rooms I cannot get to. Not behind locked doors. More like I don't even know those rooms are there.
I'm glad you are remembering. It can take some time to look around and see everything. I think you're doing a great job. How do you feel about your emerging memories?
Nothing is clear, just bits of everything that can come at any time and sometimes is frustrating not having clear memory about it.
Just an image.
Whatever those particular, the innocent memories are seem to be more painful to access than the traumatic ones. For now.
Keep going, arfie.
