little experiment for us poets

Okay years and years ago I was so in tune with everything and everyone around me kind of hypersensitivity, that I could take one word and write a whole poem about it. It just flowed, made sense, and often times had a hidden meaning. I think all of us ptsders were like that at some point. So here is the experiment someone pick any word and let us give it a try. Anyone up for it? I understand if you do not want to share for various reasons, but why not try writing in you journal and make it private, or even erasing it after you are done.

Lately I've been feeling scared and full of anxiety. I recently found a lump under my nipple. I hurt my back too. I'm in the process of moving. I'm run down. Everything is hard

Just wanted to give a thank you to Mid, Arfie, Malibumark, Greeneyes, Mlro, Girlincalif, and Suncloudjd! You all always have such helpful tips and advice, but I always forget to write on my posts when I see you post, lol. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body, lol. Thank you all so much! I'm starting to use my AI app as a sounding board again. I used to use it as that before...

If I had peace, I would not stay
this wretched site, not one more day.
I'd leave this world of pain and grief
where I can find naught in relief.
Alas, I'd miss my dearest friends
who've aided me, as my mind mends.
Peace be damned, is what I say,
perhaps I'll fight just one more day.
this is not original, it's by e.e. cummings:
as yes is to if
love is to yes

For a friend in need,
you know the kind who is a friend indeed.
Long moved away to parts far away,
She came in to town and took me out to play.
At a restaurant that I've never been,
We met three more, from way back when.
As we caught up and ate our stories were told .
It came her turn to tell us her reason for woe.
A gift for her husband was what she did need.
But not any ol' gift from this friend indeed.
A painting so special, that I could surely do.
With payment for me, when she came back through.
I said why not? Not thinking ahead .
And waited patiently for her to give me the plan in her head
She smiled and laughed, said "this will take guts"
Remember the yes...no if's, and's or but's.

I want a monkey on his throne,
Old, haggard from years of working his hands to the bone.
Slouching in his chair next to his TV,
Drinking a glass of Banana Daquari.
His circus fez and vest on a rack to be hanging.
Half schnockered and working his monkey junk banging.
One foot in the air , one bent at the knee
His other hand gripping, the arm of the chair.
I started laughing "Oh! Please don't go there!"
When my eyes quit watering and I could catch finally see.
I looked at again, to see her stare aimed at me.
You have got to be kidding!, I asked in jest
She said no, you are the best.
The work is well started, just a detail or two.
I will be so proud of this, when I am through.
Not wanting to fail, no longer a kid,
I studied and studied ...
Oh yes I did.
We have some very talented folks hanging out in here!
I am still thinking about the monkey :-)
I find three finger pointed back at me
It is not possible to rouse my rage
Unless you have rattled my emotional cage
When I follow the three fingers pointed back at me
I discover the true source of my enmity
it is then possible to heal
Oh No You Din't
You Turn That Tude
Enmity Make You Right Into My Enemy
Take Your Face
Back It Off My Case
Put Your Place
Away From Where Ya Think Batin Me
We Move This Rage
Up To Another Stage
You Say What!
Back it Up!
Git Ya Hostility Fat Up Outa My Way!!!!
