I was verbally sexually harassed and I told my caseworker and she reported it. I have been trying to process it but then a head person of an agency the work with individuals with mental illness verbally tore me to pieces and having her staff been mean to me. One of my support team members has been trying to reach out to the head personal but no response. Then my case manager did a three way call with me to the aide agency and while my case manager on the phone with me the nurse who was on the phone verbally attacked me with my case manager on the phone. I ended up hanging up and my case manager texted me after awhile and told me that she called the aide agency and spoke to someone and they would call me. Someone called me and spoke to me and apologized to me but now I am still without an aide and my other case manager who oversees this doesn't act as if she cares. But the case manager who was on the phone with me tries always to intervene. I don't know but things are crazy and sometimes it is not that I don't want to log on but it's hard to

I’m so sorry to hear this. I’ll be honest I have been sexually abused by a doctor many years ago (& completely froze up when it happened I was not in a good place) & blocked it out until recently. I’m proud of you for advocating for yourself. Please be so gentle with yourself & feel free to reach out any time you need

Wow, rose, I'm so sorry to hear that somebody submitted you to sexual harassment. How creepy. I'm so proud of you for reporting it. Good for you. Sending you support for getting through its aftermath.

So sorry this happened to you, Rose. It's bad enough when a lower level employee does something wrong, but the supervisors and those running the agencies should know how to handle it better..

Anyway, good for you for speaking up! I'm glad that caseworker will try to intervene, and I hope you get a new aide soon.

Thanks guys. My medical case manager said that she had to for my protection and the safety of others. My therapist had said for me to report it and my health surrogate advice me to let it go. But I was crying one day and when my medical case manager found out she took action. My therapist said that she is happy that my medical case manager report it

It is so weird but on Saturday morning after emailing that head person at the agency that she hates me that badly and I had nothing but respect for her. She responded claiming that she can't remember anything and in the end asked if she can speak to my therapist who has fax paperwork that I sign and I both email and give a hard copy to that office. When I forwarded prove that two weeks ago I emailed it etc the head person doesn't respond. I forwarded everything to my therapist and case manager. My therapist just wanted me and that worker to continue where I am okay enough for my health to be okay. That head person is wrong and her behaviors are odd. Anyways the agency aide service told me that they don't have an aide for me this is the beginning of the third week. And now my LTC case manager transferring me with the help of my main case manager. It is weird but funny my nurse coach keeps saying oh no you are getting hit hard. But your attitude is amazing. She doesn't see the times I cry. But I have to be careful because my emotions and my health ties together and that's why my doctors are very concerned

    Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
