Hi guys. I really feel out of my element right now. Have been for a couple of hours since there was a domestic violence dispute between my brother and his girlfriend. Um, my brother went to the kitchen to get a knife or he got one while the dispute between them. It got horrible. I was in my room when I heard it, but i seriously did not know what to do.

My heart's reaction was to call police but I didn't go through with it. I didnt do anything about it and i have been lost in a trance. She called and had the police come over- reported my brother. My brother, of course, ran away like an ass as usual when the police are called.

I don't know what to do now. I have been home for a few days and the usual same verbal arguments and threats. This time, my brother was capable of getting a knife and my own mom doesn't know what happened today. Should she know or not? My brother is home and he's high and ignorant and pretending nothing happened.

I've been breaking out in my own skin. Like I just want to lose it and go crazy. Ive been freaking out and I have flown into dissociated mode. It's like I am in a bad dream...
