I don't think the after holiday sales are ever advertised, but the day after whatever holiday you will usually find the specialty items marked down. If I find any given concept worth celebrating, I will celebrate it the rest of the year as well, so they are not specialty items in my mind.

I'm a day late, but I was doing my Irish stuff yesterday, which is also my Mom's birthday. Happy St. Patrick's day, a day late, but it's the spirit of the thing that matters. :)
