Of all the things to dislike about the PTSD roller coaster, the sheer repetition is my least favorite.
Just letting ya'll know I haven't forgotten anyone here and you are all still precious to me. I've been surfing other nodes of my support net in hopes of keeping it fresh. I can't change the nature of my PTSD, but I can look for ways to keep hitting my head on the same ol' brick.
Ya know, ya know?

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Of something like it. Obviously I am insane but when you had PTSD all your life its hard to get a good perspective of yourself and your progress or lack of.....In my case is mostly all I know.
I'm glad there's a place here where we can repeat ourselves. Speaking just for myself, arfie, your repetition never gets old. As far as I'm concerned, repeat away.
Yeah, I have had glimmers of believing the notion that the repetition really is part of the healing process. Kinda like rebuilding muscle after an accident. Ya gotta pump allot of iron to build a bicep. Same movement, over and over. No pain no gain?
Nah. Pass me the remote... Certainly Oprah knows an easier way...
