The Bangles' song "Manic Monday" is playing in my head as I get up this Wednesday morning to face another one of my hump days today in my work week's schedule. I have to work a 12 hour day today, teaching my community college nursing students death and dying classes all day from 9am through my night school class until 9pm. Couldn't change the schedule; I tried.
That's a lot of hours teaching anything, made heavier because in my case here the topic is death. A 12 hour day talking about death from dawn until past dusk. Yikes. No wonder that song's playing in my head. Support welcome.

I have 3 kids. 24. 17. 15. My 17 yr old has become super defiant. He and his 15 yr old sister have on their own decision stopped going to their dads because he and his household is so toxic.My 15 yr old and myself feel like we have to tip toe around my son who is 17. In between there was a complication. Our new dean at my community college is trying to modernize our school, like a lot of schools are, with a new Learning Management System. So he's monitoring the web sites for my classes closely from his computer in his office.
For the second time this week he sent me an email expressing dissatisfaction with how I'm setting my classes up on our new Learning Management System. I need to ask him for a face to face meeting so I can get a better grasp of what to do. I've taught for 39 years now, having started teaching before there even was an Internet. So I'm an old dog learning new tricks, so to speak.
Support welcome as I request this face to face meeting so I listen well when talking to him in his office and don't get triggered and shut down.
Prayers that you will be able to stay present and grounded in your meeting.
Hang in there. New systems can be tough, but once you get them down there'll be no stopping you.
