My sinus infection seems to be loosening its grip. I think. I hope. Prayers in progress. My sinus infections have a herstory -all the way back to childhood- of lingering for a looong, ass-whooping time, messing with my ears and teeth in the malingering. I have learned the hard way to treat sinus infections more carefully than I do my other physical illnesses and injuries. Prevention is the best cure, but every so often a sinus infection, like this one, sneaks through and. . . Ow. Recovery gets tedious.
This morning finds me awash in a high tide of anxiety waves. The attacks seem to be coming with they rhythmic persistance of an ocean tide. I find myself wondering if the anxiety is a by-product of my physical system attempting to jumpstart itself after the 2+ weeks of little to no activity.
Dunno if that makes sense, or not. Thoughts, etc., welcome. Silent bewilderment understandable. Not sure it makes sense to me, either.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
Dear Arfie, hope you soon feel better physically and emotionally.....please take extra gentle care.
Still chewing cleaver weed -like I do every year when it comes in around this time- and moving slow and easy. Still saluting all nag flags. I solidly believe over-confidence is my worst enemy with a sinus infection. Those declarations of "Cured" knock me on my ass every time.
Healing vibes to you today, my friend.
Anxiety is no fun and it comes in waves for me too. Does listening to calming music help for you? What about a distraction of some kind, such as watching a funny movie? Perhaps it is the cold medication that is causing the anxiety?
I hope you feel better soon, hugs
Could be that things getting chaotic bring you anxiety. Healing hugs.
Sending you a hug :)
