Ironic CKD pain from PTSD med doc overdose
I had a bad CKD neuropathy pain day yesterday from my bad pdoc's PTSD meds overdose that damaged my kidneys for good. But I pushed through and exceeded my 3km per day walking goal by walking 3.99km anyway. Plus, my s/o's 16 year old daughter and 13 year old son played a little basketball with me, too. By playing, I mean I stood at the foul line and took shots, because I can't walk without a cane and dribbling and canes aren't very compatible. But it was really fun to remember my younger, nimbler days and shoot some hoops.
The neuropathy pain has stepped up this month in a new way I haven't experienced before in the 11 years I've had CKD from that psychiatrist's overdosing me with Seroquel that ruined my kidneys. What's crazy about that is that I'm happier and more active than I've been in the past 11 years. I tell friends that Muji inside there is really doing great, it's the package that is the body that Muji comes in that's not so great. Life's filled with ironies.
Support is welcome for me to muster the strength to live through this irony right now. Gracias.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Admire your tenacity....you have one fierce fight in you!
So sorry life has dealt you such a hand, but it's so nice to hear you have been able to enjoy life in spite of it all.
steadying support while you find your new balance.
seems to me that deciding my limits ahead of time blinds me to the times i guessed wrong. that, in turn, all too easily causes me to push harder and/or hold back when life turns out different than what i expected. taking it play-by-play lets me participate without undue prejudice.
I understand & empathize with the pain & I get neuropathy from some of my injuries too.
You are not alone
I wish I could write better but my dissociations pretty heavy tonight, I just wanted to give you my support & compassion
Gentlest of hugs <3
