I can't believe how well I'm doing right now. I say this because ordinarily my moods are all over the place due to my borderline personality disorder, bipolar, PTSD, and a whole mess of other mental disorders. But I'm going on 4 days straight now of really good calm and content moods. No highs and no Lows and no in betweens, just really good moods. I'm very happy and peaceful and excited and invigorated but not manic. I really have nothing to which to contribute to it, other than that I'm out of the hospital and I am just doing well. I'm loving life. I am enjoying activities again. I'm looking forward to doing my Ministry everyday now whereas before I was too anxious to do it for more than half an hour. I'm more balanced. It's just an amazing feeling. I have a new therapist now. He's more solution-based and I'm hopeful that he will help me dig into some root causes and help me get through a lot of my triggers whereas my last therapist just basically talked about everything with me. I can do that with my friends. So I'm just really in a good place! The other thing that has me super super excited is that I'm seeing my psychiatrist this afternoon and I keep track of the questionnaire things that we have to do every time that we go to the psychiatrists that PS DQ thing if I have the initials right. I have never had a score less than 20 which is what I know the minimum score is for depression. Well today, drum roll please, my score is going to be, 13!!! I am so excited and I can't wait to tell my psychiatrist look at my score! He is going to be so pleased and I'm thrilled to have him be in a good mood for it. it makes me happy to see other people happy for me. So I hope that this post gives some people encouragement to know that things can get better because if anyone has read some of my crisis posts, I've been in some really drastic crummy places recently. And now I am in an absolutely amazing wonderful place. Things can and will improve as long as we keep trying and persevering.

Hey All...I hope that you have a lovely, peaceful beginning of your weekI have a bunch of chores that need doing but may put them off til tomorrow and just hang out with my landlord/roomie todayWhat about you?...Anything special going on?Have a great day and take good care of you!!..Xo

I've lived on my own in a small apartment myself fro 8 years now, so rearranging furniture would upend my room assignments, too. What once was my living room became my bedroom last year. Beat moving out, just changing things around works, right?
Glad you've got a psychiatrist who's as thrilled with your recovery as you are--and as we are. It's great to have recovery validated all around like that. And yeah, who cares why, just keep on doing what you're doing and love it!
