The Paradigm Shift is still actively evolving. My control habits, thought loops etc., continue dogging me to fast forward beyond the slow motion tedium and begin sculpting my idea of perfection, based on my own awesome volumes of accumulated knowledge and experience. "Ears open. Mouth shut." continues as my mantra as I listen to all the players in the drama.
"Hush," I tell my roaring mind. "Give it to the fullness of time."
Ah, where is my celestial report card? Sure wish I knew how well I am doing.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
Curious how it relates to the Arfie in you.

THat probably made no sense. Sorry.
This one hit my Baby D to a tee, with one minor exception, the cats...he has no fear only annihilation, but not kittens, there is only curiosity.
I wonder how I line up?
A+ to you as always, arfie. Fuggetaboutit.
"How well I'm doing" "Report card" hmmm Perfection?
I went through a whole thing for awhile .. my father was a perfectionist, and I got to be one too. And I was trained to think that perfection was whatever the Dominant male said it was... until I lived enough and loved enough and failed enough.. and then one day I said to myself, "Why is this guy (my then bf) the one to set the standards of perfection for me? " His standards were pretty arbitrary really. And so what if I failed to meet his standards? So?
Now, I do have ideals, and an idea of 'perfection' but I no longer expect myself to actually Be perfect or Do anything perfectly. I can be content with the saying "Do your best and God does the rest".
I make mistakes and still fail, but it's no longer a reason for rejection or abuse.
Arfie you're doing great:-)
