I'm having the worst day! scared-advice

I'm so upset. I'm on certain medications for all my many issues. One of my doctors recently left the practice I go to but set me up with a new doctor for in a month & a half. He left me w/ refills on my medications till then. When I called in the refill this Sunday the pharmacist said the doctor wasn't in the computer so he couldn't fill it. So I called Sunday because the desk & a few other sections of the practice are open & they said they'd leave a message for the new doctor (I haven't met yet) to verify the medication & said check pharmacy in the morning, Monday morning still no medication. I called the office yesterday & they kept giving me the run around & saying they'd call me back but never did. I finally called back & they said they'd sent another message to the doctor. So by last night I was in full withdrawal from my meds. I can't stop shaking & couldn't sleep & feel awful. I called the doctors again this morning but still no call back. I feel horrible & im having a meltdown because withdrawling from meds like this make me feel sick & disgusting like from my past when I came off alcohol & other stuff. All these thoughts are racing back. I called the doctors back & they said they'd sent another message, idk even know why this is all so difficult if this lady's just not sending it? If she sees all these messages or if she's gonna see them & then judge me & think I'm crazy. I'm withdrawing, i didn't know I could withdrawal like this from this med?!?! I feel disgusting, like the old me like a strung out good for nothing etc. etc. (a lot of horrible names I'm calling myself that I wouldn't even write on this board) .... I feel sick, in pain, scared & I don't even know!!!! Any advice? What should I do?

Here is my new brother, copper :) He's so tiny! Moo and Tuck were ok with him on first meeting. Rocket due to his severe aggression will never meet Cooper.

Otherwise, go the ER and tell them you're going through withdrawal from medications - again, explain the situation. Maybe they can set you up with a doctor immediately. This suggestion is provided they won't charge you $600 for the visit.
Those are the ideas that come to my mind.
maybe you can put in a call yourself to the dr who gave you the refills? my dr who retired? still has voicemail at the phone number for his office which is now closed - his previous patients can still reach him : ) maybe the dr himself can call the pharmacy and straighten this out for you. gentle hugs
But the pharmacist has known me for 6 years now, so he forked over the pills to keep me from having a crisis.
Going to the ER for withdrawal is the other option donna spoke of, and that will work, but you will wait forever and you might get charged. I'd go to the pharmacist in person to she or he can recognize your face and deal with you directly, rather than over the phone. See if that works; it did for me.
((((Big hugs)))))))
((((((((many gentlehugs ))))))))))))
I’m glad you are on meds now and are improving and doing better!
Praying that you will continue to get better and feel better.
