last year my great grandma passed away and she was a great person (we asked her what she wanted to be known as and she simply said "a great person") and she was the peacekeeper of our family no one would tread on her path because our family has a ton of respect for her. I was more close to her because while my mom was having a divorce my great grandma let us stay at her house until it all stopped.
But after she passed away my uncles whole family started doing drugs, my mom disowned half of our family, and my other aunt stole the inheritance (millions) from my mom and stopped all contact with us (I can't even see my cousins which I still adore).
It feels like my whole family has gone to absolute sh*t in the last year. I got diagnosed with PTSD (from my dads abuse and other BS he did), OCD, Depression, and a shitty family. I still love my family cause I still remember how it was before my great grandma died.
Its a long road for me and I just don't know how to react to it all

Hey All...I hope that you have a lovely, peaceful beginning of your weekI have a bunch of chores that need doing but may put them off til tomorrow and just hang out with my landlord/roomie todayWhat about you?...Anything special going on?Have a great day and take good care of you!!..Xo

Funerals, death, everyone reacts different. I'm sorry that your extended family has fallen apart so...
Heartfelt hugs as you sort through it, Patti
I hope that if there's theft that your mom will speak to a lawyer.... It sounds like a lot of pain all around in the family.... Doing drugs is often a way that people attempt to control their pain
I'm also sorry to read all that you've been through sweetie.....Sometimes the easiest way that I have found to get through something that has hurt a great deal is baby steps... Trying to stay in the moment
Re DS boards and support.... I think if people on here just want support or a hug it's important to say so.... Sometimes the posts seem to read that a person is looking for thoughts or advise from others that then they don't like the advise that's given
Big squishy hug for you and a blessing ......xo
