I didn't even feel like giving that chat on PTSD at that church yesterday, and I posted saying so here beforehand. But then it went well. Turns out a member of the audience has a radio program on a college station. So he invited me to speak on his morning radio show Feb. 3rd.

Wish me luck. I'm shy about being on TV or the radio, and I've never been this public about PTSD before. Prayers and support heartily accepted from here, because I know I have a voice about this from being here at DS PTSD.

Fantastic! You are a practiced speaker, and you will be great. Even if you didn't do a good job, just your being there and addressing the topic would be reason enough to feel good about this. But you will do a great job, because you know what you're talking about and you know how to talk about it!

Is there any way we can tune in? Do they have an internet channel?

this is so wonderful. totally understand the nerves. maybe you can work that into the program as part of what you deal with in a PTSD world. all and all we have no doubt you will do great.

That is fantastic!

Radio's actually pretty easy for me in one sense---my hubby worked as DJ so I know how the booth works---but be aware, the booth can be confining, so if you have claustrophobia issues, check out space specs ahead of time! (Our college radio station was microscopic.... About the size of a dorm room?)

That is so wonderful muji... You are a truly valuable voice when it comes to PTSD... I Am certain your gonna kick butt on the show... I would be shy too lol... You always come across extremely well educated and compassionate in all of your posts and comments so i know you will be a real gift to all those who are lucky enough to hear you speak on the radio...!!! It's supposed to air on Saturday. If/when I'm sure it will, I'll post a link to the broadcast or the podcast that follows.

If I can do it ... then I KNOW you can. Heck ... the only one I talk to in person, these days, is my dog :-)

This sounds so wonderful Muji :) I watched a tv program last night, it was very difficult to watch but I felt it was important to see. The woman who survived now raises awareness with police forces across the country.

I would also love to listen :)
