Thank you all for the warm welcome.
You all have pushed me in the right direction. It feels good to know there's other people out there struggling with the exact same disorder. I'm not the only one.
I have decided that if I don't land an important gig coming up, I will be checking myself into an inpatient rehab. (They are also known for treating PTSD with EMDR.)
I just wanted to thank you all for helping me put things into perspective.

Perspective. . . There's a word that gets stuck in my teeth every time. A cut diamond is the image it always brings into my graphic thought process. Each facet (surface) of the diamond has a different perspective.

But. . . The linguistic freak digresses again. . . Can't help it. I study the ALL the languages of the world in hopes of finding the language where people actually make sense. How's that for delusional over-compensation? Sigh. Everybody needs a hobby.

Nudge, nudge. . . Keep on putting one foot in front of the other, CS. You are not alone.

This site has already given me a bunch of hope, and I've only been here for 2-3 days now. Thank you all for your support. And Arfie, I'm a bit of a linguistics freak too. I laughed a little hard at your comment, as I can relate. Was raised by an English major.

Here is my new brother, copper :) He's so tiny! Moo and Tuck were ok with him on first meeting. Rocket due to his severe aggression will never meet Cooper.
