I feel horrible, awful, and sick

I’m a student at MVHS and I’m a witness to the stabbing in the boys locker room. Currently I’m having a anxiety attack and I don’t know what to do.
My friend showed me this video:
And personally this brings me back to a lot of what I saw in the locker room (blood on the walls, people screaming, yelling, and running for their lives). I wish I never saw this video (I know what the Columbine School Shooting is we talked about it in history after we had the school stabbing, and yes that also induced a state of panic/shock), this video really is truly sickening.
Im shaking and it’s really hard to type so I’m going to end it here.

85FToday I need to go and get Mom and Dad's birth certificates, marriage license and Dad's death certificate. Mom is in no shape to find that infor for the social security office to correct the mistatke they made in Mom's income. Just one more thing I need to do. Mom was in bed asleep and I didn't wake her. It's obvious the end is really near. What I am upset about is if Mom had been willing to...

Got a 20% chance of rain forecast yesterday. Got hit by a t-storm that almost knocked out more tree. This is why I watch animals and not a weather channel.Feeling too worn out to do much today, sorry.

And, frankly, avoid videos.
I'm an oldster (pushing 50), and I cannot to this day watch certain things, b/c I was nto present at 9/11.... but I was woken by the phone ringing. Turned on TV in time for seeing bad go to worse to worse-yet. And that was me simply worrying for in-laws in NYC and family and friends and such.
So if you know it's gonna bug you? Avoid it. Don't get suckered in by some "it's just video" or whatever other BS. OK? Say, "Seen it in person, don't need to see it again," and turn your back. I've found that works pretty well on shutting down people who are eager to get a thrill out of something that is, frankly, horrifying and sad and frightening.
Also, go find someone professional, *now*. So your anxiety attacks can be managed, so you can have this be *one bad incident* and not have it define too much of your life, if possible, okay? There are methods to help remove emotional attachment to traumatic events (EMDR is popular and works for some), so you can feel less vulnerable to your own memories, at least.
Peace to you.
I won't look at the video however I would do your best to avoid that which triggers you and I know it can be hard at times
I also agree with what Leo has written
I'm sorry you witnessed such a horrible event......xo
Reminders of my unprocessed traumas have triggered me in to flashback hell with mind-ripping speed. The made for TV/Internet versions can rip especially mean since they are artistically designed to trigger emotion. When the art triggers PTSD flashbacks. . . Ouch doesn't quite cover it, but for want of a better word. . . Ouch.
Another vote for seeking out a trauma counselor. Sooner is better. It is dangerous country to travel alone and postponing the processing sets the groundwork for unnecessary complications.
Whichever way you take it, we are here for you, N.O.V.A. You are not alone. Welcome aboard.
