Today I need to go and get Mom and Dad's birth certificates, marriage license and Dad's death certificate. Mom is in no shape to find that infor for the social security office to correct the mistatke they made in Mom's income. Just one more thing I need to do.
Mom was in bed asleep and I didn't wake her. It's obvious the end is really near. What I am upset about is if Mom had been willing to do what was needed four years ago when Dad was still here we wouldn't be having the nightmare we are having. It also took away from enjoying time with her.
Sandra, do you and Doug think about at some point clearing out things you no longer need or use in for your elder years? Will Martin inherit the house and if so what he'd do with it all? That is why we are cleaning all that is no longer needed or used out.
Carly, is there a long term plan for Mike and his medical care? Also, what about the flood ranch damage and is it still drawing buyers?
Leo, it's hard to understand the medical care you are receiving and the wait list for a female physician. My insurance will only let us be on a wait list for three months at the most. My primary I hated as she was an idiot and I asked for another one and my appointment is November, and for that I'm grateful. I do have my other speciallties but really needed a primary. Plans for FIL?
All I want is a day where Mom is no longer in pain and she can quietly be at peace. It doesn't diminsh the fustration and how upset she made us and the reality of who she is, it just a natural progression for us as we are born and have a few years in the life time on this planet.

89FNo energy, just going to do whatever. Sandra, It's hard to move at a certain time in life. You've been in your home forever, at least you'll be able to travel to the beach and enjoy. Oh, we did hear Boris Johnson's tenure ended due to a series of ethics scandals, accusations of dishonesty and a final collapse of government support that forced his recognation. What he didn't do like the...

88FWhat I do like is early morning clouds and then they disappear and the sun comes out. That was it's cooler in the morning. I'm sitting here looking out the window at the hummingbird with the river and dike as a back drop. It's hard to invision ever leaving but I'm also a realist with aging, especially when the luncheon we had with thirty former classmates on Monday. Sandra, we get news of...
Joanne it is hard doing those things now when you could've done them a few years ago, so frustrating and sad like you say, it's taken time away from spending with her.
Oh I'm trying now to get rid of stuff. When you've lost your parents and you have to go through their belongings, it makes you realise how much stuff we have. I am better than Doug at clearing.
I hope he gets the house but like I've said before, they take your house if you end up in a care home to pay for it. I hope neither of us end up in a care home.
If Doug goes first I will be brutal with clearing out his stuff. If I go first Martin is going to have a lot to deal with. I honestly don't care what Martin does with belongings that are left. I don't want him to feel guilty over anything.
Carly I'm sorry you lost your post again :'(
Leo sorry to hear about your father in law, I remember you said you really cared for him.
