My typing has always been a challenge, but I was able to type hunt and peck with two hands.Now I am down to one, caps are a change and all that require a shift key with use. So my exclamation marks and such require dexterity of a piano player, to reach both keys.
Irritating yes, cuts the snarky comebacks. since i must think twice as hard and cover the keyboard with half of the four finger I usually do.
Even flexing my left hand finger causes pain, since the muscles in my forearm must move and tendons pull to do it. The cast is also heavy on my neck and back,from supporting the sling.

But I am trying, can't give it yet.Wednesday I might change that tune.

Yay! Last night's post had me worried. A little.

So, now, about that story... What happened?

I had a great plan for Saturday. A garage sale or two, drop some money towards brother in law's party and the some rest for party.
So I took my dog for a walk around my yard pulling weeds, he was on his leash. It was over my wrist, no problem since we do it often, but a stranger came around my car.My dog went into protection mode, spinning around to confront the stranger, taking my wrist in the spin. I heard the snap of bones, then fell trying to grab leash with other hand before my dog got away. Limp noodle wrist not good.

Hey, Jewell, Im just amazed at how you can use a keyboard to keep in touch with us like you do right now, given your injury. Way to go.

And as for capital letters, the heck with them. Poet e.e. cummings made a career of ignoring them, and he didnt even have a good reason like you do.

Gentle wishes for as little pain as possible as you await surgerys fix this week.

I would lose too much ground gained by being silent. You all here at DS gave me strength to try.

I often do my photography shoots with my dog's leash hung similarwise over my forearm...

I need the classes to get my brain re-boot, I can't survive otherwise, no more John for buffer.

Sounds like the very definition of a random accident. Hard to know why these things happen. Then they go on to make other dominoes fall, too, like school plans.

For sure, if you can get past this week and still stay in school, though, you will have proven to self, one, and all that theres nothing in this school plan you cant do.
