I have felt this before too. I tell myself that my son would be better off without me, that my husband and family would be too

My dad once said to me " there is a reason you are still here or God would take you home. Dont give up on God when he hasnt yet given up on you"

To be honest, I have trouble with that as well. This worked for me; I made a list of things I want to do. That helped me want to keep going and eventually I found things that make me an awesome person (you are too, haha). It could be silly things like wanting to see how many times Lindsey Lohan is in and out of court, lol. Just anything that would make you smile. It may take a while (it did for me) but once you start going you can think of a lot (some being very ridiculous and funny). I hope that helps you out, Miss. :]

I've been where you are at too -- I kind of had to make a long term goal of getting out of that funk. It took years of setting goals & working toward finding things to be happy about - finding things to give meaning to my life again. One of the things that helped a little was an exercise I was taught to do. I would go for walks and while walking, look around me & take in everything I saw - colors, textures, etc - and also pay attention to my other senses - smell, feel sound. This kind of brings you back into yourself rather than being in a zone all of the time. It took a while but it helped (I also sometimes would tell myself while walking that I'm in a safe place now - no reason to be feeling the way I am)
