Hi in new but have a question
hi guys I have been diagnosed wth many things including depression anxiety and bi polar and last but not least borderline personality disorder . I just am constantly daydreaming of past bad experiences from being molested raped and stolen from . Then I've been in a relation with my baby daddy for 5 years and I know we love each order and he is a changed man . I won't lie he did strike me once when we argued bad and it what the last time he hit me . But I dream about it all the time and I wake up with my heart hurting or upset and it's like they don't understand and again living In the past when it's really that the last is haunting meĀ

I'm alive, I'm sleeping like a rock, and for some reason I wanted cherry juice so that seems to be helping. (??? Weirdo that I am.)***Infamous therapies over history:1. The Attic. The madwoman in the attic is a motif in literature going waaaaaay back: the nutty female relative is locked in the attic. (See: Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte for a grotesquely racist version of it, and Charlotte Perkins...

Hey all, i know its been quite awhile since i posted on here. Its been a summer all right. Its been something else........... You know how they say not to open the can of worms? Well a few months ago i decided to find out what my due date would have been for my first baby, the one conceived by r***. My baby would have been due on March 4th of 2006. It is late and I am suffering insomnia so may make no sense, but gist is Welcome, sending you supportive thoughts, and you are not alone...
it sounds like what you are experiencing might be a flashback. those are pretty horrible. you might want to see a counselor or therapist and run some of this by them - see what they think and if they have some help to offer?? i am glad you came here to talk about things, here is a good place for that : ) gentle hugs, my name is Lilly
I'm a bit of a Trekkie. Lieutenant Yar from, "The Next Generation" is my all-time favorite character. Guess what I find myself wanting to call you. . .
Beehaving now. . .
I, too, have quite a kaleidoscope of psych dx'es in my portfolio. My first dx was in 1972, so I not only have the differing opinions, I have the rapid-cycling pop-psychology variety to sort, as well. The language of psychology sure has evolved since 1972.
In my personal therapy maintenance, I address the symptoms far more than I address the diagnosis. Am I obsessing because I am A Toxic Mother, PTSD victim, Narcissistic, Manic Depressive, Bi-polar, schizo-affective or just plain nutz? Hell I care. I just want to be able to think about what I am doing instead of where I have been or where I am going. Ply psych tools here.
But that is me. . . Each case is unique and little things can make big diffs.
Welcome aboard. Hope you find healing companionship here while you sort your own, Lieutenant. (sorry. resistance was futile.)
