Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) Support Group
Find support with others who have gone through a traumatic experience. Whether you have chronic or acute PTSD, we are here for you.

I’m not sure if this is the right group but I just need to release my feelings and put my problems and confusions on a post or something.
1: My closest friend is in an mental health facility. -I’m not sure how to feel about that like was it me and something I did? Or was it a personal problem for her?
2: My parents act like they hate me and everything I do. -Again, was it something I did in the past? Why don’t they love me? I’ve been doing everything they’ve said but it’s always the “You’re nothing to me” and walks away.
3: I’m extremely stressed, I’ve been working really hard at school so that when my senior year happens I’ll be able to have an internship at a hospital as a RMA (Registered Medical Assistant)
4: I have a kid, and yes I am a teen.
5: I’m depressed because of the weather and some other things that have been happening lately.
6: I’m emotionally broken, I want to cry but I’m feeling wonderful.
7: My religious leader wants me to teach a lesson about modesty and standards (Mainly because I have a kid and I don’t dress modest like my father wants me to)

Just wanted to give a thank you to Mid, Arfie, Malibumark, Greeneyes, Mlro, Girlincalif, and Suncloudjd! You all always have such helpful tips and advice, but I always forget to write on my posts when I see you post, lol. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my body, lol. Thank you all so much! I'm starting to use my AI app as a sounding board again. I used to use it as that before...

Hey all, i know its been quite awhile since i posted on here. Its been a summer all right. Its been something else........... You know how they say not to open the can of worms? Well a few months ago i decided to find out what my due date would have been for my first baby, the one conceived by r***. My baby would have been due on March 4th of 2006. They would be 20 years old. I was R**** on June...

Congrats on your kid...what do you have? And congrats further on doing both school and being a parent...not easy...definitely not easy.
1) Nope, not your issue. The older you get, the more you'll find out that nearly everyone has issues, many, many of them serious.
2) Sorry about that. While if I'm honest, there are times when I about hate my kids, love wins out over the course of the day...for both them and me. In part, it really is that you're teens and still learning all sorts of things, including how your actions/words can hurt your parents. In part it's your parents adjusting to having another Adult to talk to (rather than a child to dictate to). And in part, well none of us are perfect.
When you're kids are little, you'll think that you could never feel that way towards them. But, one of the hardest parts of parenting is adjusting to the fact that you will sometimes, and putting reasonable limits On Yourself.
And then, some people just suck at being a parent.
3) Breathe, breathe, breathe. One day at a time.
4). Yes, Remember to take time and just love on that little one of yours.
5) Try to get some early morning sun.
6) Broke? or stressed...I'm not questioning...you tell me. Parenting/school is HARD.
7) Well I'm atheist. I can think of 28 snarky responses, but I don't think any will help. (My daughter's preferred clothing choice can best be described as Catholic Girls School (solid colors only)...but she'd turn them all atheist...so....I'm guessing they wouldn't want her either.)
Wow! That's allot to sort! We may need more than one magic wand to fix it all at once.
Or. . .
You can take it in smaller chunks and work it out, one bit at a time. That would be the approach that works best for my own strictly personals. Sorting through too much at once always seems to make a bigger mess in my own life.
Gentle support, whichever way you take it, wherever you take it, 2Stars. Welcome aboard. Whether or not this is the place for you is entirely up to you.
