Having to face him in court

Hi


How am I going to make it thru all these court appointments?


He will be present and I cannot even process the sexual,physical and emotional abuse he has put me and my children thru.


I worry I am going to just collapse in court.


Any words of wisdom?

Just breathe. . . Speak only when spoken to in as few words as possible and don't try to make sense of any of it until all is said and done. Lean heavily on whatever emotional support is available.

Purple, Arfie is on target. Focus on your attorney, even when his attorney is questioning you. If his attorney tried to block your view, (very likely) look at and answer directly to the judge. Do not look at him. We are here to support you through a terrible day. Calming and comforting hugs.

My perpetrator got tried, convicted, and died in prison, Purple2019. so I'm one of the few who can say he got justice. Don't focus on him, focus on yourself and those there to get you through this. He had his day the day he perpetrated his crime, this is for you now. Sending you all support.
