"don't be a hate hole" has been one of my recent mantras which seems to be escaping my mouth more and more often. it emerges when i am faced with the endless list of chores i would rather not deal with. insurance. head lice. bureaucracy. in-laws. the list goes on and on and on and on, ad infinitum.
reality checks requested. am i making sense?

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

taking the time to celebrate the completion of a disfavored task is my most effective affirmation.

how did another word for, "donkey" come to be a less respectable word than "hate?" am i an a-hole for even asking?
I tend to get angry over crying at this stage in life and I like what you wrote as it gives me food for thought.
I have this mantra: Remember if it doesn't bring you love, peace, or positive energy, stop engaging in it. Seems like when we get to be a hate hole, we are own own worst enemies bringing in our own negative energy.
Your children that you are raising give you such love but caregiving small children is no small task. It is a day full of activity and trying to be positive as a role model to them. Give yourself some love for being their safe place.

as i typed that question, my mind's eye visualized what a hate hole might look like. the visualization got me swimming for shore. . . post haste. where's that lifeline i snubbed when it was offered?
