Had first Prolonged Exposure Therapy today *TW*

I guess you can say i survied it. I have a migraine since and had to rest awhile to get up the nerve to post this. She is taking it slower than the program says because if she even says or has me say any words like rape, sexual assult, verbal abuse even my body tenses up and i start acting anxious like kicking or shaking my feet with anxiety. I have to make flashcards with those words and others and 3 times a day read them and focus on deep breathign to calm myself because i start holding my breath at the words. I am just drained, and i had PT before therapy so that wore me out too, plus im on steroids because im in such a bad pain flare..... Can i just run away and hide in a hole and not go thru this? She said i been abused or around abuse my whole 33 years of abuse and its going to take time but its so painful! She said anything to do with my exbf seems to affect me the most i said because hes a paramedic and when i reported the rape all the cops were good with me except one who said he knew his family and that i was lying so i dropped the court case only went to court for the PPO. i dont want to deal with this ever :(

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
I don't WANT to deal with my PTSD, but trying to ignore it has proven to be something like hoping the cavity in my tooth will fix itself. The harder I ignore it, the bigger and more sensitive that hole gets. The sooner I submit to the drill, the less the drilling I have to submit to, but. . . I can still think of allot of things I'd prefer to do.
Continued support while you work the process, Angela. May the gain be worth the pain. Healing hopes.
Big healing purrs.
I DON'T UNDERSTAND THE CARDS BEING GIVEN ON THE 1ST DAY. GENERALLY IT'S JUST SHARING WHY YOU ARE THERE THE FIRST TIME. BUT SINCERELY HOPE IT HELPS YOU.
I FEE VERY EMOTIONAL HAVING READ THAT THE MAN RESPONSIBLE IS A PUBLIC FIGURE WORK IN AND ADVICE GIVEN TO YOU.
EVERY RAPIST IS A MAN ?
AND MOST OF THEM HAVE RESPONSIBLE JOBS.
WHY SHOULD YOU BE ADVISED NOT TO CONVICT HIM ? IT SHOULD BE REPORT HIM BEFORE HE GETS TO OTHERS.
HE MAY HAVE DONE IT BEFORE & THAT LADY WAS TOLD THE SAME THING, AND WITHOUT PUNISHMENT WILL DO IT AGAIN......SCARY FACTS
AND MOST WILL RUIN YOUR CHARACTER.
YOU ARE YOUNG, PLEASE RETHINK CHARGING HIM.
BE BRAVE, I TRULY WISH I HAD DONE IT, ESPECIALLY NOW.
