I don't know if you have a therapist, i just go through the ocean in my head, for now until i can see someone so when the waters get turbulent i learn to adjust my sails...
Sorry i feel very tired, i'm now talking buku gibberish...
Yes, I think I have fuzzy thinking that is less dramatic than that. I often find myself confused and unsure of what I'm doing at work. THEN the true panic sets in.
Fuzzies, are you finding any help with this?
Because of this symptom, I've gone back on medication
I've worked long & hard on reconnecting - years later, still battling some depression & getting a bit hard on myself sometimes. Still a little sensitive negativity. But, I'm sure it's been several months since I felt "floaty" or had an anxiety attack.
It's good to pay attention to it, try to figure out where it's coming from & slowly try to work it out so that it will become less sever & less often over time. Sometimes it's changing things in your lifestyle - sometimes it's changing your attitudes about yourself & the world around you. It takes time. The symptom is telling you something & you can use that as a tool to get better.
I would guess everyone has different issues to work out & it wouldn't be the same for everyone. But listening to your instinct I think is a good start.
I also had to change negative thinking patterns - just generally having a dooms day attitude about life - thinking the worst. I needed to get more optimistic & look at the positive side of things as much as possible. I also had to start being more positive about my self - be more accepting & love me for all the good things that I am.
Part of being triggered is a sense of being in danger - under attack - whatever. You kind of have to convince yourself below the surface - that you are safe and that everything is OK. Feeling secure is important.
Hope all that is helpful :)
