My niece just sent me an email. she said 'I think trauma is the birth canal that brings you an opportunity to see reality, and grow spiritually'.
Wow, what an amazing concept.
I am fairly open to what she's saying, regards adult trauma and abuse - because I want there to be SOME good that's come out of it.
However, I'm not amused that it has to be (in the past) so f...cking painful. And....as for the early childhood abuse - NEVER NEVER NEVER is there any 'good' reason for it! nope.
Has anyone else heard the spiritual people saying that we're all on this planet to learn? that's the purpose? and the religious people say suffering is all part of god's plan?
I can't accept either of these beliefs - which indicate some sort of plan or purpose to the childhood abuse.
I can't accept that it's anything other than WRONG AND SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN.
Can anyone relate?

This is not God's negligence, in my eyes. This is more human abuse and terror. Sadly, free will has resulted in many humans submerged in evil. Sadly, there are victims. We are victims.
I would never dare to try and push my faith on anyone as gospel. I can't do that because my faith slowly takes different shapes and meaning as it grows. I wouldn't even know how to sell it, nor would I ever want to try. Please don't ever regard my babble as anything more than a brain dump.
But in the simplest terms (to me), God is love. And in all of this mayhem and torment that is our lives, I believe we all know what love is, and need it, and are generous to give it. Love (God) can't orchestrate our lives, it (He) can only enrich them if we let it (Him) in.
May the 2 pennies I just dropped here land face up for us all.
