my social anxiety is paralyzing me on the score of establishing a social network in the new life which was haphazardly thrown together in the domestic cataclysms 3 years ago and covidically isolated for most of the time since. the needs of my 3 orphans have kept me circulating within the new community, but i have had zero connection for my strictly personal social and therapy needs. opportunities are starting to present, but i am finding fatal flaws in each and every one of those opportunities. keep your mask on, socially distant one. thanks, but no thanks.
this morning finds me pulling a tool i haven't used in a while. i call it, "the finger pointing meditation." when i point a finger at someone else, there are 3 fingers pointing back at me. in this exercise, i vizualize the person i am rejecting in a chair in front of me. sometimes i use a photograph to aid with the vizualization. i then point my hoary finger of blame at the person and let the blame rip. you are just. . . you should never. . . how dare you. . . yaddah yaddah through the blah de blah. . . allowing myself to get brutal in the blame gaming helps me focus the issues.
i then lift my hoary finger of blame to focus on the three fingers pointing back at me. there is where i find the solutions.
am i making sense? thoughts?

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.
