Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

You are not alone, AJtene. Each case of PTSD is unique, but none of us are alone with the struggle to balance our mental health symptoms, physical spin-offs of those symptoms and pragmatic needs, such as paying rent and buying groceries.
How can I improve? There's a million dollar question. Well. . . With inflation and all, it might be a trillion dollar question by now. Kajillion? ? ?
Works in progress. . . Welcome aboard.
As others here, I, too can relate. Anxiety, depression and PTSD are coming together for me, too. Sometimes I am completely unable to do anything, and anxiety made me fail some exams many years ago, I totally understand how a job interview can make you freeze. Important thing here: You've been through very hard traumatic events, the freezing (same as other reactions) is a reaction to that, one that, at the moment, you cannot control. It's not your fault and it very certainly doesn't make you worthless! I'm glad you reached out here, it's a sign of courage.
"How can I improve?" Huh, wish I had the answer to that one. One thing that helps me at the moment is a breathing exercise: Count to three while breathing in, count to four while breathing out. Others use other rhythms... try out what works for you, if you want to.
Here for you and sending you lots of support
We also have a really good Widows and Widowers board on here …. People on it are in different stages of grieving
How have the antidepressants been helping you?.... The reason that I ask is that for me they really increased anxiety
This is a good site..... I'm sorry for what has brought you here but glad that you found us..... Gentle hug....xo
