Feeling like you don't matter

Because of the way something was handled, I feel like I just don't matter. Like people are just always allowed to hurt me and I'm sick of it. If I were someone more important I would be heard and have a voice. But instead I am nothing. It's very frustrating because I feel trapped. Idk if any of this makes sense.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

I wonder if there's a way to advertize to the university students to ask if anyone else has been hurt by him? Maybe you can find your power in numbers.
Otherwise you may have to accept in the present - as many have had to accept - that the perpetrator got away with it for now, and focus on yourself and ways in which you can honor yourself and give yourself the importance and power you deserve.
They say "living well is the best revenge." I hope you get to take that kind of revenge. And I hope that guy's sins catch up to him sooner than later - but that you don't suffer any more over his fate and focus on your own. FOR NOW. They also say "revenge is a dish best eaten cold." So focusing on healing and empowering yourself for now doesn't mean you've given up on getting justice.
Hoping you keep the focus on treating yourself with all the justice you deserve.
