I had my flu shot this year but I got it yesterday anyway. I hear that's been pretty common this year with this year's flu bug. I live alone, it's howling wind and snow outside, and when I get this sick I get alienated somehow with PTSD symptoms. I know I'm not alone in this, so I'm making myself say so here to commit to connection and not feeling sorry for myself. That way I'll take care to get rest, fluids, and better asap. I may have been a hospital chaplain, but I'm not a good patient, I'll admit.

God, do I feel cruddy.

Thanks, SC. It's a step by step thing. I got up the gumption to get to the grocery for more juice and got back home again with fever sweats. But hey, I did it! :-)

I know everybody else has been there at one time or another. I'm not all alone in this.

Hey, that radio talk show host proposed I do the interview tomorrow by phone, as someone here said he should.

Thanks. Went to work today and taught 1 measly class. Came home and slept 7 hours. Flu relapse. Come on, Mother Nature! Gimme a break here!
