I told you guys that I would update you on my progress! I am now in week 4 of EMDR once a week sessions. I have worked through a few of my “big T” traumas already, and although the work itself is emotionally tiring, I have a huge feeling of relief afterward. It feels as though I’ve let go of a heavy burden, and i haven’t experienced any re-traumatization that some people had warned me about. There is a period during the reprocessing that feels like I’m in the midst of my trauma, but my therapist is good at helping me come down and regroup before I leave her office. So far, the experience has been mostly positive. I am taking a break next week though, as I think my emotions need a breather. But if you have access to this treatment, I highly suggest you try it too.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
You REALLY made my day!!! I have been nearing ready to leave this forum to the hateful gloomy doomers. Thank you again.
