Hello been a while...
I lurk and read just have not posted much.
I have been seeing my Therapist since August.
No help or changes yet.
We upped my sessions to two times a week and the insurance okayed it. Thankfully.
I find the sessions weird at times. And so far they always end with my father.
The sensations in my body while doing the sessions are strange. I have so disconnected from my body and mind. One time I found out I have feet. Weird to know you have feet but not know you have them?!?
She has suggested body work - Yoga, tai-chi, or others to help me connect to my body.
She also does not think I have multiples. I am severely dissociated she said. I am not convinced I believe her on this one.
No flash backs in a long time. But a lot of body memory. Weird feelings in my body. I know they are memories from the past held in my body. Hence her wanting me to connect more with my body.
Ugg... this still all sucks.
Still broken and not functioning too well.
I do look forward to therapy days as I am sure that it is my path to functioning at some level again.
I don't believe I will ever be fixed. The damage is pretty severe. But some day I will be able to support my self again. That is what I am working for at this point.
I wish all good healing. I know it is tough.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
Yea, it sucks like an industrial Hoover, but it take what it takes. The search for the easy fix has still not worked well for me. The goal of independence is both doable and worth the effort. I'm putting on my little cheerleader get up for you.
