Doing better but still hard to live through...

I have been moving forward greatly but at least once a day, I can hear the same words from that devastating phone call "hopey's dead"....and then a call back to say "they kids are dead too"....I hear my mom scream in my head and it gets distracting and throws me off a bit. I heard of PTSD but never knew what it was really like until having to live with it. It is horrible. I pray for everyone suffering from a traumatic experience. Hope everyone is having an up day.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Years ago, I won a mirrored armoire from my job. It's in my bedroom but I rarely stand in front of it. Yesterday, I had to have a dexascan done so I had to change into a gown. There was a full length mirror in the changing room. I'm aware that I gained 5 to 7 pounds over the last year from cheating on Keto but I didn't know what it looked like. It was a reality check.

Grief is a toughie that can drag out endlessly in endlessly creative ways. Allot of the grief discussions in this forum are about grieving lost ideals, ideals we never got to own in the first place, etc. I, strictly personal, believe that grief is grief, regardless of who and/or what I am grieving. It is how we process that grief which varies immensely. Just my personal belief.
Gentle support while you find what it is to you, findi. Hope healing happens here. Sort freely. Sort often.
Prayers (by whatever name) in progress for Hope, Dom, Autumn, Reni and Tori. You are missed.
Or am I just waxing poetic again? Bubbling babbles?
It's allot to process, findi. Steadying support while you process.
