Another weekend is over. I am retired so I have some room to laze around the house during the week. But I still feel this way on Mondays' getting my husband off to work, making sure my chores are done, and today I will have heater guys over at 7:00 AM installing a new AC that went out last week during our first heat wave here in California. Of course Murphy's Law. How are you feeling about today? Any special tasks? If you go out today please stay safe and watch out for any riots that might be going on. Hope your Monday is off to a good start.

My day is quiet, which it needs to be due to ending up falling when adjusting the A/C when almost asleep. Bouncing one's head off a hard wood floor does require staying awake a good while to be sure there is no need for an ER visit. Such is life when one goes stupid. Hugs.

Hope the new AC installation goes smoothly, Secouya. I'm back to having a fever today and my workplace sent me an email wanting me to download forms, sign them, scan them, upload them again, and email them back by today. All they were about was keeping the same paydays for my salary next year. We have the option at my community college of being paid just during the months we teach or spreading our pay over the summer too.

I've done the latter for 9 years now, so you'd think I wouldn't have to fill these forms out again every year, but that's how my community college administration works. I couldn't face doing all of the paperwork with my fever back, so I just emailed back and asked for a break. I asked :could you pass on the paperwork this time and take my email reply as the documentation this time"? Thank goodness they .said yes. One more year and I can retire....
