Do you remember what great imaginations we had as children. We could imagine almost anything. We played dress-up, or pretended to be doctors, construction men, cowboys, superhero's and so much more. Well today I would like to take that childhood memory and have you imagine that if you could have any superpower you wanted, what would it be and why?


i would like the superpower of being able to time travel. To see what it was like in the time of some of our ancestors and also to see what the world holds for mankind in the future. With the ability to always come back of course as we are currently living in a time that will surely go down in history.

I agree with Leo same thing i was thinking before i saw her reply! The super power to heal! I want my dads cancer to be gone for good :( I also want others to be healed and heal myself! But also the power to heal people with mental illness and PTSD etc.

healing super power would help but escaping super power would be cool. teleporting. or time travel to change things that happend.

When I was 7 and my parents moved our family suddenly from Bristol, Virginia to Guadalajara, Mexico, life was lonely for a kid like me who knew no Spanish while his parents were absorbed in language school day and night. Then a childless Mexican couple next door, Lupe and Pepe, adopted me.

I'm reminded of Lupe and Pepe by today's meme because the way they befriended me was by offering to let me watch Batman every week on their tv. We had no tv set in our house, so as a boy interested in superhero shows I jumped at the opportunity.

Watching Batman on tv once a week with Lupe and Pepe led to learning how to ride a bike on their street, and then to learning how to swim, and learning how to speak Spanish and grow up to teach it. Lupe and Pepe's superpower was to be good neighbors, and it changed my life.
