Everyday someone does something that takes an act of courage. Sometimes the smallest little act is courageous, like facing a fear or trying something new. What are other acts of courage? What challenge have you faced that required an act of courage?
For me personally, having to stand up for what I believe in and having a voice to stop workplace abuse has taken about all the courage I can muster. Also it has taken courage for me to expose my diagnosis of PTSD to my friends for fear of being judged. Sometimes I think it takes an act of courage just to get out of bed in the morning and face the day.

Hiya My internet is changing today and I'm not sure how long the switch over will take, I'm hoping 24 hours at the most, but I'm probably being too optimistic We are changing to another company and going full fibre for the internet. But at least it's changing to the one payment rather than the payment for the home landline phone and a payment for the internet. So I'm not going to be on here...

Name something you hated as a kid that you love as an adult.

There are times when living was an act of courage for me, as for others here.
Pick a challenge. Every life brings many. In a lot of ways, however, the most courage was required to turn away from my dad's family and just stay *gone* from that crapfest.
In truth, the most courage required was walking into a room where... well, I won't discuss it openly. No. Too TW for me, let alone others. Just... No. But that was ultimate courage. It's been nearly 30 years and I still clench up at the thought, but I did what needed to be done.
Courage is not the absence of fear, but doing what is needed, while terrified!
Cavett said that if he'd been told there was a magic wand on a table across the room that could instantly cure his depression, the problem would be that he was paralyzed by depression so badly he couldn't get across the room to wave that magic wand. It summed up for me what it felt like when it took all I had within me just to get up and move.
