Do you think having anxiety could lead into depression? What are your thoughts?

Me, I'm having some trouble struggling with the fact that because of the pandemic I'm not in Mexico this month preparing for retirement there as planned. I exchanged emails with my kind landlady there in preparation for wiring her this month's rent via Western Union at the end of the week. It's great she's looking over my little house I rented from her there, but it hurts to pay rent on a place and not get to live in it after waiting years to do so. I'm sure the pandemic has frustrated plans the world over.
I have been waking up around 4 every morning, quite fearful. Been very frustrating.
I am uneasy about school starting again (a hs classmate's mother just passed away from covid). I won't know how school is to be run until end of July but my contract is due July 1 so it's stressful to me. I wish I could teach online and homeschool my son.
My MG doctor is wanting to try an IVIg on me due to more blurry vision and a harder time breathing at times. I am also battling MRSA (by my arm pit of all places!) and poison ivy.
I guess my outter self is beginning to match my inner self... a patched up mess. Thx for letting me vent it out. ;)
So much is out of our control.... I guess this is one hell of a reminder of that...….sigh and a big deep breath.....xo
