Cranky Posting (TW for language +)

....or maybe bitchy-booking (as opposed to vague-booking and/or face-booking)
Someone suggested that other's may have a skewed view of me and my situations because I post mainly negative experiences. Apparently I don't post enough "successes" and this may lead others to believe that my therapy and or medication is not working.
I guess I can see the truth in that but then again part of what I do when I am upset is post/write and I need to do it in a safe environment. When I am not posting here it generally means things are going well or at least ok.
So now I feel like I should come in and post something positive but while the last few weeks have been pretty darn good they have also kept me busy with a total redo of my apartment, painting and projects. Though all you you peeps are nice and some are actually pretty great, it is MUCH better for me to not be online. Being offline means I am partaking of my real life in a positive way.
So......here I am. The honeymoon period with the risperidone is wearing off and I am feeling overwhelmed again. It is not to the intensity that it was prior but yeah the depression and hopelessness is creeping back in.
Tdoc has been on vaca and I haven't seen him since May 19th. I won't see him until June 9th. I miss him. I emailed him just to check in because I worry about him when he is gone. He is ok and I know it is only 5 days till I see him . I think I am almost like a kid in the sense that I miss him like crazy and can't wait to see him yet I get all pouty about it as it gets closer.
Anyway...enough immature babble.
I want to reinvent myself. Physically and mentally. I want to finish my degree. I want to be healthy enough to live life and enjoy it. I want to be healthy enough to do the things I enjoy. I think I even want a new career. Then I feel too old. I feel like it can't be done. I feel like it is impossible. Then I get sad.
Under all of that is a little girl who wants to curl up next to "dad" and be held, warm and safe.
Babbling done.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
As far as posting goes, post what YOU feel like posting we all have our down times and ups and it's up to you to decide. We are not here to judge. But this is a great group of people and when the chips are down they are there for you.
Nah. . . Last checked, my Facebook page was a multi-lingual graphic nightmare of "Copy and Paste." Cleaning up a Facebook newsfeed is a nightmare of "Friends" politics.
I am adding my voice to the choir about not hearing the crankiness here. Sorting hard facts is not the same thing as getting cranky about it. Lots of fuzzy lines in there, for sure, but one of the analogies I like could be drawn from the redo of your apartment. When I am prepping a wall for painting, I do not get lost in judging each hole in the sheet rock or each stain in need of containment. I just get my spackle knife moving. . . JUST. . . If only my psychic wounds could be patched as easy as sheetrock. . .
Hope you reach that little girl and help her find the comfort "dad" did not have to offer. Maybe let her do a spackle splat while you gently validate her needs?
Gentle validation while you sort, Cecil.
Congrats on keeping your focus on the offline life and moving forward:-) Go, you!
Yes a lot of people are not here when they are doing better...Like you said they are busy getting things done and have less time...
This is a support group and you can share what you want...
I would love to spend a day taking photos with you.
