The trauma chain in my family contains a great many closed door communications. My favorite sister and I have speculated that they can be divided into two groups: the burrow faction who likes to burrow behind closed doors with their vice of choice and the runners who speak with the door closing behind us as we go.
Can you tell I am a runner? There is a new burrower in my home. My son's fiancee. I've put 3,000 miles on my car since she started burrowing in our guest room.
Am I making sense?

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. Why does this remind be a little a bit about your recent post about doggies?
Oh I know, it is the way your adult son turns his issues into your issues. Why are you letting the fiance intrude on your space for such an extended period when she makes you uncomfortable?
You don't have to answer that, but you are the head of your pack, don't let your pups dislodge you. It's your territory.
You have enough on your plate w/out having to eat his stuff too.
I am feeling the Call of the Wild.
Am physically too ill now to be a runner, but was for a long, long time. Now I just analyze stuff to shreds from the comfort of my sofa. It takes good stamina to be a runner.
I am also quite devoted to the concepts of family, butttttaaa... My sons are grown. If we can get the grown-ups off the payroll, travel will become financially feasible. I have taken to pointless long distance driving since the DIL-to-be has taken up full-time burrowing. Who knows. Maybe she will simply take on my housewife gig while I get back to photojournaling the amazing world we live in and strumming by the campfire. My son is not employed enough for independence, but he is employed enough to help with the bills.
