Does women have trouble wearing a bra like I do. Even though it is nessecary to wear one.

I have a long standing chronic pain disorder, separate from PTSD, and it makes any constricting clothing uncomfortable. My disorder is fibromyalgia and over on the DS Fibromyalgia group page someone posted about bra discomfort about a month ago and got more than 50 responses, with lots of suggestions about reducing discomfort. You might want to go to that page and do a search using key word 'bra'.

Sorry you are having this issue. They say depression can increase pain perception also.

Necessary? For me, they are cultural torture at its most devious. I can handle them for short stretches, but I prefer layers and loose fits to keep the fashion police at bay. Covert coverations?

I don't have a chronic pain issue that would be affected by a bra, but I love to get the damn thing off as soon as I get home. Free the Girls!

I have asthma and the only ones I can wear are the cami-styled ones and then I have to cut the elastic from around the bottom. I feel like I'm suffocating and cannot breath in anything else. Most of the time, I just do layers and forget about it. I'm too old to care anymore.

Iwear maternity onesmade fromm lycra, they are so stretchy you can take off and on with out even undoing, no ribbing either no binding. I have asthma and fribro and they work wonderful

Have you tried the genie bra? It is so much more comfortable and cooler than a standard bra. It is stretchy and does not have clasps or regular straps. It is almost like wearing a t-shirt shaped like a bra.

I looked up the Fibromyalgia post for you. It is called: "Pain from wearing a Bra", and was originally posted on February 3. 2013 by RDMS94. Tons of good suggestions there...

Women here have given you good suggestions too.

I don't like bras. I wear them when I have to, or when I realize I haven't had one on for a while. Don't want big droop, but I do like my freedom.
