I had the best CKD and diabetic day today that I've had in a long time and it meant great sleep despite my usual PTSD insomnia. In the a.m. I had some diabetic dizziness from low sugar, but eating got rid of it. The shooting pains in my legs and the burning sensation in my hands, though, was so much less that it was as if I were cured of CKD. I know better, I won't go into denial, but that's how GOOD it was. YAY! I walked double my 1 km daily goal, then, 2.19 km! :-)
Thanks, y'all for supporting me through this past week's bad nights so I could enjoy a blessed day like today!

Due to my increased paranoia, anxiety, and a panic attack over the weekend, my psychiatrist has put me back in a full dose of Zyprexa until further notice. Every time I think I'm getting ahead something happens and it's back to square one. I knew he was gonna do this but I can't help feeling disappointed. It is what it is.

Hiya My internet is changing today and I'm not sure how long the switch over will take, I'm hoping 24 hours at the most, but I'm probably being too optimistic We are changing to another company and going full fibre for the internet. But at least it's changing to the one payment rather than the payment for the home landline phone and a payment for the internet. So I'm not going to be on here...

kudos on pausing for a sharing of appreciation.
I was even able to pour a 10 gallon jg of drinking water into the spout tank, which is pretty amazing. I took the dog for a walk, too, and clocked an extra 0.68 km beyond my 1 km daily goal for a 1.68 total. It was really gorgeous out, so much so that I took a picture of the golden sunset over these Mexican mountains down here. I'm really grateful for this day I had.
But my CKD nerve damage in my legs hurts less today again, and so I did have a good long 1.74 km walk with my poodle again, well over my daily 1 km walking goal. I'm still standing and not in my wheelchair as I was repeatedly last year, and I'm grateful.
However, the CKD nerve damage's spread to my hands now really hurts. Support for that welcome.
..Sending support for your hands. Is the cream you were using not as effective anymore? Praying for the solution.
Right, LadyLight, the cream I was using stopped working. Fortunately, my home health care aide here in Mexico surprised me with a new cream known here as Ginatrifil. When I put on, it didn't hurt, which was a big plus for starters,
and it contains betametazone, clotrimazol, and best of all gentamycine which is an antibiotic so I don't get infected hands. I slept well last night.
Good news!!
Big hug!
