I heard the words today that after 7 1/2 years with eye damage i thought i would never ever hear. Your eyes have greatly improved and you are now safe to drive again! Turns out it WAS my blood pressure keeping my eyes from improving after the damage from the topamax!!!!!! I never ever thought i would be told i could drive again, well i still cant but vision wise i can. I will not drive until after my spinal stenosis surgery due to i get no warning when my hips legs and feet will go numb on me, mainly when walking, sitting with my feet down so in a car it happens the quickest and easiest. But my eyes are about 90 percent better from the damage!! My pressures are perfect now as well! They have been up and down. He asked if i needed him to do the paper to get my lisence back i said they never took it, i told him i went in and did the vision test twice since my eyes went back and they passed me, he said that is very scary to think of. But he said it makes it a lot easier and cheaper that i dont have to fight to get it back. I will have new glasses in about 2 weeks with no prisms, i do go double at times but he could see how quick my eyes correct themselves with it now. The new glasses with help correct some more on my near sighteness and astigitism. I am so happy this happened but also having a very rough day emotionally from my pain levels and other things going on.

Here is my new brother, copper :) He's so tiny! Moo and Tuck were ok with him on first meeting. Rocket due to his severe aggression will never meet Cooper.

I had almost 24/7 double vision and severe bluriness. I had the max amount of prisms in my lens and it still was not helping enough. I was suppose to have surgery on my eyes in Feb and right before being wheeled intothe OR my oxygen dropped. They sent me to ER to check if i had blood clots i did not it was just due to my back pain my oxygen drops due to me breathign different if on my back. The second time i was suppose to go to get the surgery my Drs said to put it off until after we know when my back surgery will be. Then all of a sudden my blood pressure started bottoming out (was on a good amount of bp meds) thas when my eyes improved. My eye Dr said that since my bloodpressure was high for approx 13 years and quite high (i was not put on anything until i passed out in teh ER years ago and when i came to it was 210/120 and my heart rate was very elevated) that when my blood pressure dropped it allowed my eyes to finally heal with out the pressure on them from my blood pressure being high before. I am just grateful i can see so much better!
