Nearly a whole week in my own apartment with just my dog's demands to begin and end my day. The husband and sons are still getting their licks in, but they feel simpler to manage from here. Losing them was not ever the goal. Just praying for some fine tunage to make way for sweeter harmonies.
This is the early morning of the 4th day of the intensive job hunt. The panic attacks have been vicious. My Employment Herstory has not changed much since I last updated my resume in 2005, but even changing the few lines was paralyzing.
Trying to be gentle, but feel a need to push it. Don't think this set of anxieties is going to respond to my Magic Just Wand.
Just an update.

I haven't written in my diary on my computer since May because I thought that my computer was dying. I got away from writing but my computer is hanging in there. I think that I will start writing in it again. It's so therapeutic.

First, I hope everyone is doing well, and continuing to fight that good fight! Keep up the great work on yourselves; I'm rooting for all of you!So, I started doing therapy at the beginning of the year, when I was in my most depressed state, but with my therapist, I made big changes and steps in the right direction. But, over a month ago, she couldn't take my insurance anymore, and I had to stop...
I'm in the process of moving and I a so scared its not even funny.
I hope you find a good job and they'll be wise to hire you.
You sound like a very sharp lucid mind and you love of cultures and words its a real blessing when there's so many people who do not understand that kind of evolved thinking still.
Do your best and God does the rest. Just take it a day at a time, a moment at a time.

Employment acquisition or change during a time of other upheaval is so stressful. I for one fully understand your current anxiety while you were just trying to update resume.
About a month ago I started the working phase of a new home based enterprise that involves my art skills focused on garment upcycling. Friends were encouraging and I had a few pre-orders. But when I began work I found myself in this major flustered state - couldn't apply my logical spacial knowledge. Everything I did had to be redone several times.I made childish mistakes. My hand would shake when I'd try to thread a needle. I became quickly aware, like you are now, that it is a mental thing not a skills lacking issue. The good news is that once I really got my head into the work of the new endeavor. calm was restored.
I just decided to accept how I can psyche myself out pretty easy - and then mother myself through it.
Shared this story to try and give encouragement that as unfamiliarity wears off you will likely feel find your center again.
The best to you.
Thebest to you
Thanks xa. Simple wisdom is the most durable.
Good share, letitbe. Different window dressings, but I do believe that is exactly what I am going through. Thank you for the validation. Small bytes and long chews?
The panic attacks have been vicious.
Ouch. Its heavy enough going through the work involved in the job hunt, updating resume, focusing searches, etc. Then when panic attacks pile on its just not fair. Sorry about that. I know you bear them with that great sense of humor of yours. But I do wish it were different, at least in that area. I know what thats like.
Were cheering for you here. Keep the updates coming.
