There was another shooting last night I was on duty for almost 8 months to the day and at a city wide celebration event since the shooting I have mentioned far too many times here. Good news is only 2 people thus far were injured, both non life threatening injuries. Had a little bit of triggering but nothing I couldnt handle. I was nowhere near it but it made me think what is wrong with people to bring their guns to a heavily populated area snd shoot? Maybe I just dont have that kinda mindset to just randomly shoot, but you better believe I will shoot to protect. Kinda getting tired of the violence in this area, and I know other areas have it worse.
I know this site is worldwide, so to anyine reading this in the US or territories, Happy July 4th a little early. Remember the reason we celebrate and remember those who died in the creation of our nation
Everyone knows that they don't have guns, and that they're pacifists. They won't fight you, they won't beat you up, they won't show up at your house looking to get their things back. They don't have insurance. They may report it to the police, or maybe they won't...at least here in Pennsylvania...it's very mixed.
Within the Amish communities themselves, there is crime. But as targets...they're no more victimized than anyone else.
