Another bad CKD day from PTSD meds overdose
It's a lovely sunny day that's great for a walk but my chronic kidney disease or CKD has depleted my energy today and I am barely able to get out of bed. I walk on a cane because of it because usually I can push through with 40% kidney function and therefore only 40% oxygen in my blood for energy. But about once a month or so willpower can't push through and neuropathy pain is high, too.
It relates to PTSD because my CKD was caused by a PTSD psychiatrist who overprescribed me Seroquel for my PTSD nightmares until I collapsed and was hospitalized with permanent kidney damage. I've collapsed 3 times and been hospitalized for it 3 times again since. As I live alone in Mexico I have to watch that. If I'm not as forthcoming as usual in my DS PTSD replies to posts this weekend, please bear with me. I'm biting the pillow, so to speak.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.

Hey guys, what's your favorite Muji story?
I'm feeling better today already, but since I felt I could faint yesterday I was prompted to set things up with a buddy here like I had in the US. Since the ER cuts your clothes off, I've found in all previous 4 times I was held overnight for observation that as someone who lives alone, then to get out the next day I need a change of clothes to go home. I kept a bag with a change of clothed in it in the trunk of my car, but even if I'd driven myself to the ER and my car was in hospital parking they wouldn't let me go get them.
Last year my clothes guy was my buddy Dick from work back in the States. I just saw Dick this morning from Mexico via Zoom; great guy. Now I've asked my Mexican buddy Ale to do that here if need be, and he agreed.
I learned to reach out for support like that here, so thanks to you all for it. It makes things happen for me offline, too.
I kind of felt iffy again today so I took it easy. I did do my daily walk that's kept my 110lbs weight loss steady, but since I felt funny I went back home and stayed there rather than going out again. Hope resting's going to let this weakness of the past few days pass. Glad I retired this past May for sure.
