WASH MY HAIR! Ha!
So now I have nice, clean hair, a still burning leg, and I know all of you are with me.
Thank you.
Btw, it's scientifically proven that swearing out loud alleviates pain. Releases adrenaline and dopamine, son't remember why though.
Hope it'll get better soon.
Ice. OK. I have one of those ice bags from the drugstore in the freezer. Will do.
Yeah, the cussing helps. I gave up the cigarettes, alcohol, sex, and now even PTSD meds with the kidney thing, so cussing it is. And you're right about what the studies say: it's helping. That and hair washing, which is totally logical, right?
Ice. Irony. Still laughing. That was a good one. Love your sense of humor, Neo.
I believe there is a metaphysical reason for everything and pain is energy that is stuck in the body. Heat is anger. So....If you are swearing in anger then you are releasing the anger and therefore releasing the stuck energy. Keep yelling and swearing. Get the anger out. Punch a pillow if you can. I'd say kick but I don't think that would be wise right now...of course.
Plus--you're right: it's working for my pain! It really is.
Thanks for the encouragement to let the heat energy OUT, Lucky.
Hugs and talk yourself to the shores of Uruguay for Carnavale.
CBT for pain has shown some benefits, I really wish I could swing time backwards.
